Ride Challenges allow you to earn a bonus when you give a set number of rides within a set time frame.
Here’s an example of what a Ride Challenge may look like:
Complete 20 rides between Monday 5 AM and Friday 5 AM to earn an extra $100.
Check for new Ride Challenges on Mondays and view your progress in the home screen of the Lyft Driver app.
Eligibility and progress
Ride Challenge offers are personalized and vary weekly, but they aren’t offered every week.
We'll email you details when you’re eligible for a new Ride Challenge. You can also check the app to view available Ride Challenges.
Ride Challenge tiers
Ride Challenges can have up to three tiers that differ in value and allow you to earn extra.
Tiered bonuses add up, so the more tiers you complete, the more money you’ll earn.
Example: You receive a tiered Ride Challenge where you can earn up to $80 for completing 15 rides:
- Tier 1: Complete 10 rides and earn a $50 bonus.
- Tier 2: Complete 5 additional rides and earn an extra $30.
If you completed both tiers, you’d earn a total of $80
Ride Challenge payouts
Once you’ve met the Ride Challenge requirements, the bonus will be added to your total earnings within an hour. You can cash out these earnings with Express Pay.
If you don’t cash out your earnings, we’ll include it in your next weekly deposit. Keep in mind, weekly deposits start Tuesday mornings and can take a few business days to process.
Only available in select regions. Participating in bonuses and incentives is always your choice. You aren't required to accept any specific request for services to maintain access to the Lyft app or Lyft platform.
Lyft Deliveries: If your delivery ride includes one pick-up and multiple drop-offs, it will count as a single ride towards a ride challenge.
